Happy with my success with the look of lace paper, as well as the way the multicolor faded stripey rice paper, I combined them both next in a blue-green tin. My scrap bags turned up a blue-white-green striped paper like the pink-and-purple on I used on my Mother’s Day tin, and some plain green lace paper. The green lace paper stands out nicely but subtly on the blue background, and the striped rice paper lightens everything up.
I’m pleased enough with this one that I might do another one just like it, though I had been trying to make each collaged tin unique.
