Barb Suess‘s new temari book is out! To help launch it, she arranged to have a booth at this year’s Carolina FiberFest, and asked me and Susan Fennell to join her for one big Japanese-crafts themed booth. The rest of the festival is largely dedicated to yarns and such, but we noticed woven baskets and other things as well while we were setting up yesterday, so come by if you can!
Where: Jim Graham Building, NC State Fairgrounds
When: Friday, 12-8pm
Saturday, 10am-8pm
Sunday, 10am-6pm
I’ll try to actually remember to take some pictures of our booth today, but in the meantime, here’s Barb’s new book, Temari Techniques, (which I proofread) along with two of the balls I did for it as test patterns when she was still in the writing phase.
